myHappymind

myHappymind is a pioneering, NHS-backed programme transforming the way mental health is taught in primary schools. Grounded in neuroscience and positive psychology, it equips children with lifelong skills for emotional regulation, resilience, and wellbeing—while supporting staff and families too.
Used in over 2,000 schools across the UK and abroad, myHappymind now impacts almost one million children, teachers and parents. It is delivered by school staff using engaging digital content and is designed for all settings—including mainstream, special schools and alternative provisions—supporting children who are neurodiverse or have SEMH and SEN.
Independent evaluations confirm its impact: the University of Chester found significant improvements in behaviour, relationships and emotional literacy. An NHS study showed reductions in CAMHS referrals, and a local evaluation with Kirklees Council and the NHS found a 21x return on investment.
Founded by bestselling author Laura Earnshaw, who also co-wrote a children’s mental health book with Paralympian Jonnie Peacock, the programme has earned national recognition. Laura is an NHS England Fellow, Trustee of the Mental Health Foundation, Chair of Governors, and has been shortlisted for a King’s Award—all in recognition of this groundbreaking, preventative work.
Pickatale

Pickatale is an educational digital reading platform for children learning to read English and enjoy reading. It is aimed at children aged 3-12 year olds with dedicated support for teachers and parents/carers. There are pathways through the product for native and non-native English speakers, as well as opportunities for children to find books to enjoy in local languages too.
In 2024 TIME/Statista announced Pickatale in the Top 20 World Ed Tech companies. At this point Pickatale had already begun shifting as an organisation from providing an award-winning digital children’s library to producing an educational reading platform for schools to help children learn to read and want to read for pleasure and knowledge. Concurrently, reports of billions of dollars being spent on technological solutions with little evidence of direct impact on the learner were becoming widespread – from school to government level around the world. Impact investors also wanted proof that the technologies they were financing were making the positive results promised for society. It was at that point Pickatale made the decision to put evidence and impact front and centre of our product development.
VESPA Academy

The VESPA Academy Coaching Portal is an innovative, evidence-based solution designed to enhance non-cognitive study behaviours among post-16 learners. By using a tailored questionnaire to assess key behaviours—Vision, Effort, Systems, Practice, and Attitude—the platform delivers personalized coaching reports and targeted interventions. This dual-interface model, which includes a comprehensive teacher dashboard, allows for real-time monitoring and adaptation of support strategies.
With deployment in over 600 schools worldwide and robust evidence from independent efficacy studies, our initiative has demonstrably improved academic outcomes, including notable gains in exam grades and increased student engagement. Attached research reports and detailed testimonials confirm that the platform not only boosts academic performance but also fosters resilience and self-regulation. This integrated approach directly addresses longstanding gaps in traditional education, making the VESPA Academy Coaching Portal a model of sustainable, impactful innovation.
