WWidgit Software

Widgit has transformed its international strategy over the past 18 months, focusing on three key areas to drive significant growth and impact in supporting communication through symbols.
The first strategy involves revitalising existing partnerships. By creating a dedicated Partnership Team and working closely with its international partners like Auxilia in Italy, Widgit has achieved an average 24% year-over-year growth.
The second approach centres on developing new partnerships across diverse sectors. Notable collaborations include integrating Widgit Symbols into Hachette’s digital curriculum, creating Communication Boards with Smartbox, and expanding into the MENA region through partnerships with M42 and Topland to support People of Determination.
The third focus is international schools, where Widgit has proactively built brand awareness through educational associations like BSME and COBIS. By addressing English as an Additional Language (EAL) challenges, and demonstrating the value of symbols in teaching, Widgit has achieved a remarkable 150% sales increase from FY22/23 to FY23/24.
These strategic efforts have resulted in a 45% surge in international revenue, positioning Widgit as a global leader in inclusive communication support.
