Deesha

Deesha is a data intelligence platform designed to empower educational leaders with actionable insights, transforming how schools use data to drive success. Officially launched in September 2024, Deesha integrates data from any source—whether it’s MIS systems, attendance trackers, HR software, or safeguarding tools—into a unified platform, eliminating data silos and manual reporting.

With AI-powered insights and Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deesha enables schools to ask complex questions like, “How are pupil premium boys performing at Key Stage 3 compared to the rest of the cohort?” and receive instant visualisations. Schools can also identify key influencers on performance, allowing them to focus resources and interventions effectively.

Deesha’s Power BI Embedded technology provides robust, interactive data visualisations without requiring additional licenses. The platform is user-friendly, allowing schools to log in via Office 365, click on “My Insights,” and access actionable data in seconds.

By leveraging sentiment analysis and advanced analytics, Deesha helps schools uncover hidden patterns in surveys, attendance, behaviour, and more. Its seamless integrations and customisable metrics ensure it adapts to the unique needs of every school.

Deesha’s mission is to make data a tool for empowerment, not overwhelm, enabling schools to focus on what truly matters: student success.

stylus

stylus will make teaching desirable and learning effective with their AI-powered and teacher moderated marking service for handwritten student work. Founded by former teachers and devout education technologists, stylus has grown in 12 short months since incorporation into a venture-funded, revenue-generating DfE delivery partner and employer of eight talented education professionals.

Securing pre-seed investment, stylus rapidly expanded, gaining its first paying customer just weeks after launching, and now selling to many in just 24 hours after they’ve seen stylus in action. With further backing from the DfE’s Contract For Innovation, stylus developed an AI-driven solution uniquely capable of bulk processing handwritten student work with teacher-level precision and insight, without adding any workload back onto teachers.

Schools partnering with stylus report exceptional results: marking workloads vanish entirely, replaced by accurate, detailed feedback that matches expert teacher standards. Over 1000 student assignments have already been assessed, receiving enthusiastic praise from educators for dramatically improved feedback and recovered teaching time.

Having successfully established itself in primary education, stylus is now set to scale globally, reaching secondary education and international English-speaking schools—transforming education worldwide, one marked paper at a time.
