Hachette Learning

In a time when technology is transforming education, the Hachette Learning Adaptive and Academy team has set a new standard for what it means to be agile, collaborative, curious, and innovative. In just five months, in partnership with Area9 Lyceum, a leader in adaptive learning technology, the team developed two cutting-edge digital products: Hachette Learning Adaptive and Hachette Learning Academy.
These products are a result of a technically sophisticated and highly coordinated effort across multiple teams. From day one, the team embraced a cross-functional approach, bringing together specialists from different areas to work towards a shared goal: to create exceptional resources that would improve learning outcomes for teachers and students.
The team embraced change and complexity, particularly as they worked with a completely new technology platform. They quickly adapted to the Area9 Lyceum technology, leveraging its capabilities to build pedagogically sound learning experiences.
The success of the Hachette Learning Adaptive and Academy team has been a team effort, with each member bringing their expertise and passion to the project. The result is something truly special – platforms that not only meet the needs of today’s learners but anticipate the challenges of tomorrow.

Maths Circle

The MTC Support Team at Maths Circle is dedicated to preparing schools for the Multiplication Tables Check (MTC), a Y4 test in England. The team developed the MTC Support Package, providing schools with mock assessments, CPD training, data analysis, and expert guidance, all included within the TT Rock Stars subscription price. The aim is to help every child recall their times tables fluently because confidence in multiplication unlocks wider mathematical understanding and lifelong numeracy skills.
The team created the MTC Hub, an online space offering free resources. The Officially Unofficial MTC (OUMTC), is a series of mock assessments taken by over 1,000,000 students across 10,000 schools, providing instant results and school benchmarks. The MTC Prep Schedule, designed by former teachers, helps schools structure their preparation throughout the year.
Our webinar programme attracts over 2,000 registrations annually, offering expert guidance on sustaining engagement and interpreting results. Teachers access live Q&A support, multiple session dates, and on-demand recordings.
Our global team uses technology to coordinate, ensuring a well-structured and impactful approach. With a tight feedback loop meaning continuous developments, and a commitment to accessibility, it’s no wonder 99% of teachers believe the Support Package has helped their students.
