Sarbani Bose, Founder and CEO, Deesha & Managing Director, Ei Square
Sarbani Bose, CEO of Deesha and Managing Director of Ei Square, is a pioneering leader dedicated to revolutionising education through data. With 23+ years in digital transformation and AI expertise from Oxford Said Business School, she empowers educators to unlock the potential of data.
Recognising the critical need for accessible data insights in schools, Sarbani created Deesha, an AI-driven analytics platform tailored specifically for the education sector. Deesha simplifies complex data, enabling educators to make informed decisions that directly improve student outcomes and enhance school operations.
Sarbani’s mission is to democratise data literacy within education. She believes that data-driven insights should be readily available to all schools, regardless of resources, to create equitable learning environments. By bridging the gap between data and actionable intelligence, she empowers educators to focus on student success.
Beyond Deesha, Sarbani actively contributes to the education community through thought leadership and advocacy. She is also a mental health advocate and trustee of Catalyst Support, demonstrating her commitment to the well-being of individuals and communities. Outside of her professional and philanthropic work, she enjoys running, family, and travel.

Katie Harrison, Co-founder and Director, Picture News
Picture News is a weekly resource helping schools teach children current affairs, to transform their global awareness and critical thinking. We get children talking about what’s happening in the world through images and a leading question, from explaining Amazon’s robot workers, to the Lionesses’ football achievements. Schools use Picture News for assemblies, classroom discussions, interventions, extracurricular clubs and home-school links. The resource packs always draw children back to the core idea, ‘What is the picture telling me and what is my opinion?’, so they can purposefully listen, talk and write about the news. By exploring topical issues and current affairs each week, pupils interacting with Picture News resources can become well-rounded, compassionate citizens who are aware of the world around them.
