Caroline has worked for charities, in the civil service, even spending a slightly surreal year as a researcher for The Queen’s Private Secretary and she began her professional life in the classroom.  She currently chairs the governing board of Primary School in Hackney and has been a school governor for the last 15 years.

I started out as a primary teacher in London with a belief for this emerging thing called EdTech and the opportunities to reach students in a way that had never been done before. From humble UK start-up to global Corps scale-up, I’ve supported 100,000s of educators in their successful introduction of media and technology into the classroom with recommendations of 98% from over 350,000 teachers in a 3-year period alone.

I’ve served as the peer elected Chair of BESA, I am a Trustee of TfL’s London Transport Museum and I’ve been called upon as a ‘voice for the industry’ with the pleasure of representing UK EdTech on stages from Camden to Calgary and Birmingham to Beijing.

Dave has over 35 years of experience in education. As Director of Procurement and Trust-wide Projects at Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust, he oversees the procurement strategy, supports IT strategy and monitors operations, and provides leadership in governance and GDPR.

Previously, as Head of Partnerships and Events at BESA, he coordinated event programs and facilitating partnerships, including attending Bett Asia and Bett Brasil.

With over 20 years in computing, education technology, and online safety, Dave worked as a teacher and senior leader, providing quality assurance and leading Traded Services for Havering Education Services.

He contributed to the award-winning ‘Switched on Computing’ series and the Department for Education’s Workload Reduction Toolkit.

Dave served on the Bett Advisory Group. He was Chair of the Board of Management of Naace and judged the Bett and Education Resources Awards.

Dave has worked in Japan, the USA, the Middle East, Brazil, Thailand, and Europe.

He has been a teacher/senior leader in three schools, is currently a Chair of Governors and Chair of Members in two MATs and a local authority school, and has been a governor of four other schools.

He is a qualified coach and has worked in marketing and ICT training at Anglia Ruskin University.
